Disneyland, Tokyo is a magical wonderland filled with fun and excitement. The Cinderella Castle is absolutely magical. It’s the heart of the peak and a must-see for everyone. The Cinderella Castle is beautifully designed and provides a stunning backdrop for photos. The park has an incredible variety of attractions, shows, rides, and experiences that will leave you with unforgettable memories. Disneyland Tokyo is a dream come true for Disney fans of all ages.

Disneyland is a dreamland. As you venture through the park, you’ll discover different themed lands, each with its own special allure. Make sure not to miss the spectacular parades and shows that happen throughout the day. The highlight is the mesmerizing electric parade, where beloved Disney characters come alive in vibrant performances that will have you singing and dancing along. And to top it all off, the fireworks display at night is a magical way to conclude your day at the park. It’s a dream come true!

I visited Tokyo Disneyland in the month of September. I took the metro to Maihama station. It’s a special station just for Disneyland. When I entered through the main gate, it was absolutely stunning. I recommend arriving at opening time so you can make the most of your day exploring all the shows and rides. It’s a full day of fun you won’t want to miss!

Electric Parade Dreamlights

Disneyland Electric Parade Dreamlights is truly a magical experience that brings joy to people of all ages. The parade is a vibrant and dazzling spectacle that lights up the night sky and fills the air with excitement. I remember my first visit to Disneyland too, and I was blown away by how beautiful and dream-like it was.

The Parade features a stunning display of illuminated floats, adorned with millions of sparkling lights. Each float represents a beloved Disney character, from Mickey and Minnie Mouse to Cinderella and Peter Pan. And the music? It’s so enchanting! The energetic performance truly brings the characters to life.

The Dreamlights parade is such a magical nighttime experience! It features over 20 floats covered in millions of LED lights and a small army of performers. You’ll see floats inspired by modern Disney/Pixar films like Frozen, Tangled, and Toy Story. The whole parade lasts for more than 45 minutes, giving you plenty of time to be enchanted by the spectacle.

The Dreamlights parade ends with these incredible floats inspired by the “It’s a Small World” attraction. They tower over the parade route and are perfectly synced to the ride’s song with a dazzling display of lights. It is truly epic in terms of length, size, and beauty. The Dreamlights is Disney’s best nighttime parade ever and is a must see.

The Electric Parade is about more than just the floats and characters. It’s a celebration of Disney’s history and storytelling. Each float tells a unique story, taking you to different Disney movies and moments. And the best part? It’s a nighttime spectacle. As the sun sets, the light of the Electric Parade creates a magical atmosphere.

The Electric Parade show starts at 7:00 PM, but visitors will begin getting spots 2 hours before the Parade starts. I was a bit confused when I saw people setting up across the road. But then I realized that it’s actually the parade route. It’s better to grab a spot early to avoid any last-minute rush. And let me tell you, I was amazed when I watched the Parade. It’s the perfect way to end a day at Disneyland, especially with the starry sky.

Sky Full Of Color

“Sky Full of Colors” is an awe-inspiring show where vibrant fireworks paint the night sky to the tune of the 40th-anniversary theme song and beloved Disney melodies. It creates unforgettable, dream-like moments, transforming the colors of Cinderella’s castle. It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you’ll cherish forever!

As the darkness falls, the sky above Cinderella Castle transforms into a mesmerizing spectacle of lights, fireworks, music, and pure magic. It’s like stepping into a whole new world of Disney enchantment. You’ll be transported into the magical world of Disney, where dreams do come true. It’s a moment that will stay with you long after the show ends and a memory that you’ll treasure forever.

After the Electric Parade show, all the visitors started finding their spots for the Sky Full Of Color show. Everyone sat on the ground in front of the Castle, eagerly waiting for the finale to begin at 8:30 PM. It’s a 10-minute show. The “Sky Full of Colors” show is an absolute marvel that will ignite your imagination and fill your heart with pure joy.

Splash Mountain Ride

There are so many incredible rides at Disneyland Park, and Splash Mountain Ride is definitely one of the best! It’s an adventurous boat ride where you’ll journey through steep slopes and dark caves, adding to the excitement. But the fun doesn’t end there! As you continue your journey, you’ll treated to more surprises, twists, and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This iconic attraction is sure to make a splash and leave you with unforgettable memories.

As you step into the world of Splash Mountain, you’ll find yourself immersed in the story of Br’er Rabbit and his quest for adventure. The ride takes you on a long flume journey through the delightful scenes inspired by the animated film’s song. Along the way, you’ll come across lively animatronic characters and vibrant landscapes.

We waited in the queue for more than 90 minutes. Those long queues can be a bit challenging, but thankfully, if you have a priority pass, you can bypass the line and save lots of time. But that long wait was worth it in the end! Experiencing the beautiful and fun-filled adventure of Splash Mountain Ride must have made it all worthwhile.

Cinderella Castle

This iconic landmark is the centerpiece of the park and a symbol of magic and fairy tales that capture the imagination of everyone who sees it. As you approach the Cinderella Castle, you’ll be awestruck by its majestic beauty. It is like a dream come true to have that castle right in front of you! And once you step inside, you’ll discover the enchanting Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall. It’s a magical experience that will make you feel like a part of the story.

When the sun sets, Cinderella Castle truly comes alive with its mesmerizing display of dazzling lights, stunning visuals, and beloved Disney characters gracefully dancing across its magnificent facade. And let’s not forget the breathtaking fireworks show! As the night sky illuminates with bursts of vibrant colors and the iconic Disney music fills the air, you’ll be transported to a world where dreams and wishes come true.

It’s a must-visit for any Disney fan or anyone looking to experience the wonder and joy of fairy tales. As part of the 25th anniversary of Tokyo Disneyland on April 15th, 2008, the castle received decorations similar to the 2021 50th anniversary WDW castle with only the 2 turrets decorated in purple and white banners and gold/silver ribbons on the rooftops.

Disneyland Hotel

The Disneyland Hotel in Tokyo is situated right in front of Tokyo Disneyland, making it the ideal choice for an immersive Disney experience. The rooms at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel are designed with both comfort and that special Disney charm in mind. If you are lucky, you might even get a room with a view of Cinderella Castle. You will get the opportunity to dine with beloved Disney characters. After a fun-filled day at the park, you can unwind and relax at the hotel’s luxurious facilities. It’s a magical experience that will make you feel like a part of the Disney world.

Big Thunder Mountain

Big Thunder Mountain is an exhilarating roller coaster that takes you on a wild and rip-roaring ride through a haunted gold mine. Get ready for a wild ride as you race through dark tunnels, dodge dynamite explosions, and zoom past stunning rock formations. Don’t forget to add Big Thunder Mountain to your must-ride list when you visit Disneyland Tokyo. I waited in the queue for more than 75 minutes to get this ride. Good rides tend to have long queues, but the experience is worth it. So buckle up and get ready for a journey full of excitement and surprises.

Theme Parks Ride

Disneyland Tokyo is home to a wide array of rides that cater to adventurers of all ages. Some rides are for kids and some are for adults. Rides names are Space Mountain, Western River Railroad, Island Rafts, Flying Elephant, It’s a Small World, Splash Mountain, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountains etc.

If you’re looking to experience thrilling adult rides at Disneyland Tokyo, I highly recommend checking out Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain, as I mentioned earlier. Space Mountain is also a fantastic choice! However, do keep in mind that these adventurous rides often have longer wait times, typically exceeding an hour. Disneyland theme park is a massive theme park, so it’s no surprise that exploring it can easily take up your entire day.

Restaurants

When it comes to dining, Tokyo Disneyland has got you covered with a mouthwatering array of culinary delights that will satisfy every craving you have. For an authentic Japanese experience, make sure to visit the Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall. If you are planning for some American classics, head over to the Plaza Restaurant. Disney Harmony Color –

Electrical Parade Dreamlights –

This spectacular parade brilliantly transforms Tokyo Disneyland at night with lights and Disney music.

Full of Sky Colors –

Colorful fireworks light up the night sky and these colorful bursts of light dance to the enchanting melodies of the 40th-anniversary theme song and a medley of beloved Disney tunes.

Jamboree Mickey! Let’s Dance –

Guests can join the dance with Mickey Mouse and the Disney friends to rhythmic music, in this entertainment program for children.
